Global Director, Accelerated Learning and Talent Development
Jessup, Maryland, USA
The Innovation Center of Excellence is a driving force behind BAC’s rich culture of problem solving and teamwork. At the helm is Kari Lindemann, who helped build the center from the ground up in a role that she describes as both challenging and tremendously enjoyable.
“I sit at the nexus of problem solving, process and people – fostering creativity, curiosity, empathy and innovative mindsets across the organization, and challenging and empowering BAC to find new ways to solve the challenges we are faced with.”
“I take particular delight and professional pleasure when I can help an individual or a team pull apart a problem they are trying to solve, when they have their own ‘AH HA!’ breakthrough moment that gets them closer to their solution.”
Kari played a pivotal role in the official launch of the Innovation Institute in October 2021, which laid the foundation for the Innovation Center of Excellence. After being promoted in January 2023 to Global Manager of the Innovation Center of Excellence, she continued to lead the charge in cultivating a unified corporate culture and fostering innovation across the organization’s diverse locations, cultures and industries.
Today, as Global Director of Accelerated Learning and Talent Development, she is responsible for a broader scope of talent management and professional development initiatives, including overseeing the Innovation Center of Excellence.
Kari seeks out language, tools, and mindsets to propel individuals and teams forward, empowering them to tackle the challenges and opportunities that are inherent in a global business landscape. Her role is not just about achieving personal goals and objectives, but about facilitating the success of others by equipping them with the necessary skills and perspectives to excel.

Kari originally came to BAC through the recommendation of an acquaintance who spoke highly of the culture, of the support, and of the success that BAC was having. Since she joined the company, BAC has continued to mature and grow into new markets, new regions, new products and new applications. One of Kari’s greatest sources of pride is seeing BAC’s products ubiquitous in everyday life, whether she’s on vacation, traveling for business, or visiting her parents. She holds a deep admiration for the quality and integrity of BAC’s offerings and feels a profound sense of pride in a company that is continually evolving and striving for excellence.
“I’ve also enjoyed seeing our culture continue to mature and develop—embracing new technologies internally, plotting a new course forward in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging space, and really challenging ourselves from a sustainability perspective.”

Throughout her tenure at BAC, Kari has been fortunate to encounter invaluable mentors, advocates and friends who have provided guidance, support and sometimes the tough love needed for personal and professional growth. Embracing a culture of responsibility and courage, Kari and her colleagues are constantly driving innovation across processes, businesses and technologies.
As she looks toward the future, Kari is excited by all the opportunities unfolding at BAC. She is committed to leveraging her skills and experience to provide invaluable support across the business landscape as BAC continues to help shape the modern world. As Kari continues in her role as Global Director of Accelerated Learning and Talent Development, the Innovation Center of Excellence remains part of her broader responsibilities. The journey ahead, under her leadership, is set for continued progress, collaboration and success.
Kari holds a BA in English Communications and Technology from UMBC and an MA in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore, along with multiple Design Thinking certificates from IDEO.
