Amsted Industries announces that Luke Rubino has been named President of Burgess-Norton,
succeeding Brett Vasseur who has retired.
Mr. Rubino brings diverse managerial experience with strong operations leadership and strategic
development to his new role at Burgess-Norton. He began his Amsted career with Baltimore Aircoil
Company in 2003 and held roles as Plant Manager and then VP of Operational Excellence before being
named VP and Managing Director of BAC Asia Pacific in 2012. In 2017 Rubino joined ConMet, another
Amsted Industries company, where he served as COO of Plastics and Manufacturing Strategy before
joining Burgess-Norton last summer.
Since joining Burgess-Norton, he has been responsible for key strategic initiatives including: the
powder metal growth strategy, launch of BN’s manufacturing execution system and implementation of
the 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX).
